There are companies looking for marketers for their products. This will be your opportunity to work at your leisure and still earn an income before the strike is called off .
There are Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) looking for volunteers.
Learn from your field
Look for a company that is into your field of study. Go to them to learn the practical aspects of your course of study. Also Learning a new language can be general, but very important to students whose courses are language related (Communication, Linguistics, History & International Relations). Learning a new international language can go a long way in bridging the communication divide.
