Google Brings YouTube Application That Downloads Videos And Saves Data

Google has been working on a version for the YouTube application that downloads videos and saves data for mobile devices. The app called YouTube Go was available in beta form and those interested I presume, tested it out while Google was making a better app out of it.

Finally, the final version of the app, YouTube Go was published on the Google Play Store of recent, for everyone’s use on the go. The reason of its existence is to give users in selected countries the option to save data when using YouTube.

YouTube Go allows users to download videos and store them on their phone’s memory or SD card for later view. These videos can also be shared with nearby friends via Bluetooth.

It is also worth mentioning that Google built the app so that it would work on devices running Android 4.1 Jellybean and newer. Although, the app hasn’t been officially released in Nigeria but it is currently available in some other countries.
